Job Summary
Float between ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, and Edgecombe hospitals at a Level 1 trauma center, covering ICU and Intermediate Care units with ratios up to 1:6. Maintain 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience, including 3 months within the last 12 months, while holding an active North Carolina license and BLS/ACLS certifications. Complete required Relias exams within 48 hours of offer acceptance and adhere to a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift schedule. This travel-only assignment requires living more than 80 miles from the facility and includes up to five days of time off, with specific holiday dates noted.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- 12 months of travel experience
- North Carolina license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap between Staff at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health) and no current placement at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Relias exams taken immediately (within 48hrs)
- 2 Charge/Lead references from within the last 12 months
