Job Summary
Conduct critical care float pool duties, rotating between ICU and PCU units as needed. Provide patient care in a Level 2 trauma setting while maintaining 24 months of required float pool experience. Utilize Epic systems and complete mandatory tele tests on the first day. Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications throughout the 13-week assignment. This night shift role requires living over 50 miles from the facility and involves every other weekend scheduling with 72 biweekly contract hours.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Experience with Epic
- ASN completion
- Massachusetts license
- 2-5 years of ICU experience
- Tele test will be administered on the first day and is pass/fail
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months to be considered
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted
- 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health
- 6 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health
- 6 months gap required between for Travel at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification required
