Job Summary
Conduct critical care float pool duties, rotating between ICU and PCU units as needed. Maintain 72 biweekly scheduled contract hours with every other weekend shifts, including a 12-hour night shift. Pass a mandatory tele test on the first day; failure may result in assignment termination. Submit required certifications, including ACLS and BLS, and provide a charge/lead reference from the last 12 months. Candidates must hold a Massachusetts license and reside over 50 miles from the facility. This travel assignment offers 13 weeks of work at Beth Israel Lahey Health with a maximum of 14 days time off.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Experience with Epic
- ASN completion
- Massachusetts license
- 2-5 years of ICU experience
- Tele test will be administered on the first day and is pass/fail
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months to be considered
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted
- 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health
- 6 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health
- 6 months gap required between for Travel at Program: Cross Country Program - Beth Israel Lahey Health
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification required
