Job Summary
Care for ICU patients across neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ED/PACU units as part of a Critical Care Float Pool rotation. Shifts run 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with flexible contract hours totaling 48 per week. Requires 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience, including recent ICU exposure, plus New York licensure, Epic proficiency, and travel readiness. No travel teams or pairs; candidates must reside outside specified NY counties. Contract spans 13 weeks starting September 2026, with a maximum of 10 days off.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Travel experience
- Experience with Epic
- New York license
- Must be comfortable and competent to care for ICU patients in neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, progressive critical care unit (PCCU), and ICU/PACU awaiting bed placement
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 10 days maximum time off
- 2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
