Job Summary
Provide critical care float coverage across neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ED/PACU units. Maintain 24 months of critical care float pool experience, including 3 months within the last 12 months, with a New York license and Epic proficiency. Float to multiple units while adhering to a 10-day maximum time off schedule and flexible contract hours of 36 or 48 per week. Ensure all certifications, including ACLS and BLS, are current and submit required references and identification for onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Travel experience
- Experience with Epic
- New York license
- Must be comfortable and competent to care for ICU patients in neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, progressive critical care unit (PCCU), and ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC)
- 6 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC)
- Must be comfortable and competent to care for ICU patients in neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, progressive critical care unit (PCCU), and ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
- 10 days maximum time off
- 2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification required
- Travel only, local not allowed
