Job Summary
Care for ICU patients across neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ED/PACU awaiting bed placement as part of a Critical Care Float Pool. Maintain 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 3 months in the last 12 months, including required Epic proficiency and travel history. Float to multiple units while adhering to a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift, 36 or 48 hours per week schedule, and a maximum 10-day time off limit. Hold a New York license and complete ACLS and BLS certifications. Maintain a 12-month gap from the HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center for staff roles.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Travel experience
- Experience with Epic
- New York license
- Must be comfortable and competent to care for ICU patients in neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, progressive critical care unit (PCCU), and ICU/PACU awaiting bed placement
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC)
- 6 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC)
- Travel only, local not allowed

Desired Qualifications
