Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse - $2370 per week.

Job Summary
Float to multiple units including Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac/CVICU, and Neuro ICU based on operational need, with assignments potentially covering stepdown or telemetry. Provide care across pulmonary, renal, sepsis, ECMO, LVAD, transplant, and neuro IR/neurosurgery populations. Maintain rotating AM/PM shifts with 12-hour blocks, three shifts weekly, and holidays as required. Pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation and complete required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, CCRN, and ATCN. Submit Hawaii license and COVID booster documentation; no current placement at Medefis Program allowed.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 36 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- 36 months of Trauma Level 1 facility experience
- Hawaii license
- COVID vaccination
- COVID booster
- Three (3) or more years ICU Staff RN experience excluding travel assignments in large tertiary/quaternary, Level 1 trauma centers
- Must pass EKG exam with a score of 80% or better during orientation
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
- ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses Certification)
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
- Proof of identification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Epic
- BSN completion
- Experience in mixed Medical/Surgical ICU and/or specialty ICUs
- Experience in CRRT
- Previous ICU Float Pool experience
- Previous Queen's Health System ICU traveler experience
