Job Summary
Conduct 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) in a Critical Care Float Pool, rotating between ICU, step-down, IMCU, and ED units, with potential assignments to Women's and Family units. Maintain 24-month experience including 12 months in Critical Care Float Pool within the last 18 months, ensuring 3 months of recent Critical Care experience. Utilize Epic and hold current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications. This Pennsylvania-based travel role requires a BSN and local/travel flexibility, with a 13-week contract starting September 2026 at a 1/3 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 18 months
- Travel experience is preferred
- Experience with Epic is required within the last 6 months
- BSN completion required
- Pennsylvania license or compact license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- 1 reference must be from your most recent employment
- 2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification required
- 5 days maximum time off
- Available for floating to additional units and locations
- Available for local & travel
- Available to work days surrounding holidays
- Available to work the days surrounding 1-2 holidays
- ICU RNs will float to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders
- Available to float to Women's and Family if needed
- Available to be pulled mid-shift to float to any unit or hospital
- Available for 13 weeks contract
- Available for 3 shifts per week
- Available for 12 hours per shift
- Available for night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Desired Qualifications
- Travel experience is preferred
- No more than 5 days of RTO; if 5 days in a row, can add week to the back end
