Job Summary
Conduct night shift critical care float pool duties, including coverage for ICU, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders. Float to Women's and Family units if needed, managing patient populations with preeclampsia, eclampsia, hypertensive moms, and postpartum hemorrhage. Maintain 24-month critical care experience with 3 months in the last 12 months, including 12 months of float pool experience in the last 18 months. Utilize Epic within the last 6 months and hold BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications. Work 12-hour shifts, three times weekly, with a maximum of five days of return-to-office.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 18 months
- Experience with Epic within the last 6 months
- BSN completion
- Pennsylvania license or compact license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- 1 reference from most recent employment
- 2 Manager/Supervisor references from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
- Available for floating to additional units and locations
- Available for local & travel
- Available for days surrounding holidays
- Available for 1-2 holidays during contract
- Available for mid-shift pulls to float to any unit or hospital
- Available for 5 days maximum time off
