Job Summary
Float between Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive units as needed, managing adult and geriatric populations. Provide care for critical care patients while completing labs within 48 hours of signing. Requires 12 months of critical care experience with 60 months of float pool work in the last three years, including Trauma Level 1 and Epic proficiency. Night shift rotation every other weekend with some holidays, 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week, and a maximum of 14 days off. Travel only; candidates must reside over 50 miles from the facility.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 60 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- Travel experience
- Experience with Epic
- Trauma Level 1 experience
- Wisconsin license or compact license
- Experience with multiple ICU units, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, and IMC/Progressive/General care populations
- Basic arrhythmia experience
- CRRT-Nextstage experience
- Previous Charge Experience
- Teaching hospital experience
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing
- Every other weekend rotation and some holidays
- 14 days maximum time off
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification required
