Job Summary
Conduct night shift critical care float pool coverage with 12-hour shifts, three times weekly, every other weekend and holiday. Maintain 24 months of critical care experience, including 12 months in float pool and 3 months of travel. Submit Iowa or compact license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications, plus a Charge/Lead reference from the last two years. Requires COVID vaccination and booster; travel only with residence over 60 miles from facility. No per-diem employment allowed. Contract runs 26 weeks starting July 2026.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- 3 months of travel experience
- Iowa license or compact license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Live >60 miles from facility
- COVID vaccination
- COVID booster
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- 1 Charge/Lead reference from within the last 2 years
- Not currently employed on a per-diem basis
