Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse - $2240 per week.

Job Summary

Float between Critical Care, Observation, Med Surg, General Surgery, Ortho, Thoracic, Neuro, Oncology, Telemetry, and Progressive Care units. Titrate drips including Epi, Norepi, Dobutamine, Propofol, Esmolol, Hydromorphone, Midazolam, and CIS. Monitor patients using vents, high flow, BiPAP, CPAP, and Phillips monitors; read strips and manage 1-3 acuity assignments. Work night shifts with self-scheduling, three weekends per schedule, and holidays as required. No call. Requires Washington license, BLS, ACLS, Epic, and prior float pool experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
  • 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years
  • Experience with Epic
  • Washington license or compact license
  • COVID vaccination
  • 12 months gap between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (WA) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (WA) CommonSpirit Health
  • 12 months gap between for Part-Time at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (WA) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (WA) CommonSpirit Health
  • 12 months gap between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (WA) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (WA) CommonSpirit Health
  • Prior floating experience (float pool shifts, other facilities, and/or floating to other floors/units)
  • At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to
  • Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility
  • Titration of drips (Epi, Norepi, Dobutamine, Propofol, Esmolol, Hydromorphone, Midazolam, and CIS)
  • Use of vents, high flow, BiPAP, CPAP, Phillips monitors, and Cerner
  • At least 1 monitor tech; RNs read strips
  • Floats within Critical Care Unit, Observation, Med Surg, General Surgery, Ortho Surgery, Short Stay Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Telemetry, and Progressive Care
  • 3 weekend shifts per schedule
  • Holidays as required
  • Driver's license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
