Job Summary
Conduct critical care float pool duties across multiple units, including MICU, SICU, and CVICU, while managing acute cardiology and heart failure patients on inotropic support or ventricular assist devices. Operate advanced hemodynamic support equipment such as Impellas, IABPs, ECMO, and dialysis machines during night 3x12 shifts with every other weekends. Provide pre-operative and post-operative recovery support for cardiovascular procedures ranging from open heart surgery to heart transplants. Maintain Ohio or compact licensure, complete required pre-employment modules, and submit charge/lead references within the last two years.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Experience with Epic
- Diploma completion
- Ohio license or compact license
- ICU float pool (MICU/SICU/CVICU)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Proof of identification
