Job Summary
Conduct critical care float pool duties across MICU, SICU, and CVICU units, providing pre-operative support and immediate post-operative recovery for cardiovascular procedures including open heart surgery and heart transplants. Manage acute cardiology and heart failure patients on inotropic support or temporary ventricular devices while operating Impellas, IABPs, ECMO, and invasive lines. Maintain night shift 3x12s rotation with every other weekend off, adhering to a maximum 14-day time off limit. Submit Ohio or compact license proof and complete required pre-employment modules to expedite onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Experience with Epic
- Diploma completion
- Ohio license or compact license
- ICU float pool (MICU/SICU/CVICU)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Proof of identification
