Job Summary
Conduct night shift coverage (3x12s) for pre-operative support and immediate post-operative recovery of cardiovascular procedures, including open heart surgery and heart transplants. Manage acute cardiology and heart failure patients on inotropic support or ventricular assist devices, utilizing Impellas, IABPs, ECMO, and invasive lines. Float between ICU units (MICU/SICU/CVICU) while maintaining Ohio licensure and completing required pre-employment modules. Work 12-hour shifts with every other weekends over an 8-week contract, adhering to a maximum of 14 days time off.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Experience with Epic
- Diploma completion
- Ohio license or compact license
- ICU float pool (MICU/SICU/CVICU)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Charge/Lead references
- Proof of identification
