Job Summary
Float to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders, with possible assignments to Women's and Family units for ICU-only roles. Maintain 24-month critical care experience including 12 months in a float pool within the last 18 months, and ensure recent Epic system proficiency. Submit with a Pennsylvania or compact license, BSN, and required certifications including ACLS, TNCC, BLS, and NIHSS. Work 12-hour day shifts in a 1/3 nurse-to-patient ratio for 13 weeks, with a maximum of seven days off.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 18 months
- Travel experience is preferred
- Experience with Epic
- BSN completion
- Pennsylvania license or compact license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- 1 reference from most recent employment
- 2 Manager/Supervisor references from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
