Job Summary
Manage ED border patients within your specialty, floating between Emory Decatur and Emory Hillandale units as needed when patient volume fluctuates. Maintain 12-hour day shifts across a three-shift weekly schedule, with a maximum of seven days off per contract period. You must hold a Georgia or compact license, possess NIHSS and BLS certifications, and provide two charge/lead references from the last twelve months. Candidates must reside over 50 miles from the facility and cannot be currently placed at AMN Program or Emory Healthcare. This travel-only assignment includes facility holidays on 10/31, 11/26, 12/24, 12/25, and 12/31.
Required Qualifications
- 18 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- Georgia license or compact license
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Registered license type
- Georgia license state
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted
- No current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Emory Healthcare
- Pre-employment modules may be required
- All time off must be requested upfront
- 7 days maximum time off
