Job Summary
Handle ED border patients within your specialty, floating between Emory Decatur and Emory Hillandale as needed if patient volume dictates. Maintain 12-hour day shifts across 3 shifts per week for a 13-week contract starting August 31, 2026. Submit NIHSS and BLS certifications, provide 2 charge/lead references from the last 12 months, and request all time off upfront with a maximum of 7 days off. Candidates must hold a Georgia license, live over 50 miles from the facility, and float between units; no current placement at AMN Program - Emory Healthcare is permitted.
Required Qualifications
- 18 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- Georgia license or compact license
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Registered license type
- Georgia license state
- Travel only
- Live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement at AMN Program - Emory Healthcare
- 7 days maximum time off
