Job Summary
Handle ED border patients within your specialty, floating between Emory Decatur and Emory Hillandale as needed when patient volume is low. Maintain 12-hour day shifts, working three shifts per week with a maximum of seven days off. Adhere to facility holidays on 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, and 12/31/2026, with only one holiday day allowed off. Submit all time off requests upfront and provide two charge/lead references from the last 12 months. Hold a Georgia or compact license, BLS, and NIHSS certification. Live more than 50 miles from the facility for this travel-only assignment.
Required Qualifications
- 18 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- Georgia license or compact license
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Registered license type
- Georgia license state
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted
- No current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Emory Healthcare
- Pre-employment modules may be required
- All time off must be requested upfront
- 7 days maximum time off
