Job Summary
Conduct critical care float pool duties with 24 months of experience, including 9 months in acute care within the last 12 months. Maintain a North Carolina or compact license and hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. This travel-only assignment requires living more than 50 miles from the facility and may involve floating to additional units or locations. A charge or lead reference from the last 12 months is required, and scheduling requests must be coordinated directly with the manager upon starting. Offers require a clear response within 24 hours, with a maximum of 10 days time off permitted.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- North Carolina license or compact license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
