Job Summary
Float within the complex to SICU, MICU, OICU, CCU, and CVT, with potential assignments to ED, MS, or Trauma Level 1 units. Manage adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across sepsis, trauma, neuro, cardiac, and oncology populations while maintaining 1:2 or 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratios. Requires 18 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience, including recent work in the last 12 months, plus proficiency in Oasis and Epic systems. This night shift role involves every-other-weekend coverage, including holidays, with a maximum of seven days off per cycle. Candidates must hold a Virginia license, possess BLS and ACLS certifications, and provide a charge/lead reference.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 18 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 12 months
- Experience with Oasis
- Experience with Epic within the last 12 months
- Virginia license or compact license
- 2 years experience
- Riverside Regional Medical Center does not accept license hits
- iCare experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Charge/Lead reference
