Job Summary
Float within Riverside Regional Medical Center's ICU complex, including SICU, MICU, OICU, CCU, and CVT, while managing adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with sepsis, trauma, neuro, and cardiac conditions. Provide critical care for patients requiring 1:2 or 1:3 staffing ratios across units, with flexibility to pull to ED, MS, or other locations as needed. Maintain 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) every other weekend, including holidays, for a 13-week assignment. Requires 18 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience, Oasis and Epic proficiency, and a Virginia or compact license.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 18 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 12 months
- Experience with Oasis
- Experience with Epic within the last 12 months
- Virginia license or compact license
- 2 years experience
- Float within the complex to SICU, MICU, OICU, CCU, and CVT
- Can be pulled to ED to take an appropriate assignment
- Can be pulled to MS or ED to task
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

- VA license state
- Charge/Lead reference

- Every other weekend required, including Saturday and Sunday
