Job Summary
Float within the complex to SICU, MICU, OICU, CCU, and CVT, with ability to pull to ED, MS, or take appropriate assignments. Manage adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations including sepsis, trauma, neuro, cardiac, oncology, and renal failure cases. Maintain 1:2 ratios in MICU and SICU, 1:3 in CCU and OICU, and 1:4 in CVT. Work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with every other weekends required, including holidays. Requires 18 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience, Oasis and Epic proficiency, and iCare experience. Submit with Virginia or compact license; no current placement at Qualivis Program - Riverside Health allowed.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 18 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 12 months
- Experience with Oasis
- Experience with Epic within the last 12 months
- Virginia license or compact license
- 2 years experience
- Riverside Regional Medical Center does not accept license hits
- iCare experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- License Type: registered
