Job Summary
Float within the complex to SICU, MICU, OICU, CCU, and CVT, with ability to pull to ED, MS, or take appropriate assignments. Manage adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations including sepsis, trauma, DKA, neuro, CABG, STEMI, post-vascular surgeries, renal failure, and oncology patients. Maintain 1:2 ratios in MICU and SICU, 1:3 in CCU and OICU, and 1:4 in CVT. Work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with every-other-weekend rotation, including holidays if applicable. Requires 18 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience, Oasis and Epic proficiency, and iCare experience.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 18 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 12 months
- Experience with Oasis
- Experience with Epic within the last 12 months
- Virginia license or compact license
- 2 years experience
- Riverside Regional Medical Center does not accept license hits
- iCare experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Charge/Lead reference
- Proof of identification
