Job Summary
Conduct critical care float pool duties on a 12-hour night shift (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) three times weekly for a 13-week travel assignment. Maintain a North Carolina or compact license and hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Float to additional units and locations as needed, with a requirement to live more than 50 miles from the facility. Submit all time off requests at application and coordinate scheduling directly with the manager upon starting. Provide a charge or lead reference from the last 12 months and complete required pre-employment modules to expedite onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- 9 months worked in the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- North Carolina license or compact license
- Travel only
- Live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- 10 days maximum time off
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
