Job Summary
Conduct critical care float pool duties across Med/Surg, PCU, IRU, BHU, ICU, and ED units at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. Maintain 12 months of recent acute care and critical care float experience, holding New Mexico licensure and TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications. Work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) for 3 shifts weekly, with a maximum 14-day time off allowance. Submit only if residing over 50 miles from the facility, as this is a travel-only assignment without local placement. Provide a charge/lead reference from the last two years and explain any employment gaps exceeding 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- 12 months of acute care experience
- New Mexico license or compact license
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
- Proof of identification
- Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained
- Must live >50 miles from facility
- Travel only, local not allowed
