Job Summary
Conduct 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM in a Critical Care Float Pool role at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, with potential rotation to Med/Surg, PCU, IRU, BHU, ICU, and ED units. Maintain 12 months of recent critical care, acute care, and float pool experience while holding a New Mexico license. Submit only if residing over 50 miles from the facility; no prior experience at this facility or current placement with HealthTrust Program is permitted. Provide proof of identification, explain any employment gaps exceeding 90 days, and hold required certifications including TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS. Work 3 shifts weekly for up to 13 weeks with a maximum of 14 days time off.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- 12 months of acute care experience
- New Mexico license or compact license
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
- Proof of identification
- Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained
