Job Summary
Conduct critical care float duties across ICU, CVICU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn ICU units, managing adult patients with complex conditions including stroke, cardiac, sepsis, vascular, cardiothoracic, trauma, burn, and medical cases. Utilize advanced technologies such as CRRT, IABP, Swan Ganz catheters, and Impella while maintaining 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with an every-other-weekend schedule and no call rotation. Complete required pre-employment modules and labs within 48 hours of signing, adhering to a 13-week contract starting September 2, 2026, with a maximum of five days remote time off.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Travel experience
- Experience with Epic
- Louisiana license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- Willingness to float
- Willingness to work weekends
- Willingness to be very flexible
- Ability to complete labs within 48 hours of signing
- Not a first-time traveler
- 2 Charge/Lead references
- Proof of identification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- CPI certification
- CCRN certification
- BLS certification
