Job Summary
Float between ICU, CVICU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn ICU units caring for adult patients with stroke, cardiac, sepsis, vascular, trauma, burn, and medical conditions. Utilize CRRT, IABP, Swan Ganz catheters, and Impella while managing a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Work every other weekend with no call, taking up to five days of time off per week. Maintain a Louisiana or compact license, hold CCRN and ACLS certifications, and complete labs within 48 hours of signing. This auto-offer position requires a clear response within 24 hours and involves floating to multiple critical care units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Travel experience
- Experience with Epic
- Louisiana license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- Religious and medical declinations accepted
