Job Summary
Float to ICU, CVICU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn ICU as needed within a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) rotating every other weekend. Manage adult patients with stroke, cardiac, sepsis, vascular, cardiothoracic, trauma, burn, and medical conditions while utilizing CRRT, IABP, Swan Ganz catheters, and Impella. Complete lab work within 48 hours of signing and submit a clear offer response within 24 hours. Requires 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience, 12 months general critical care, and 3 months in the last year, plus Epic proficiency and a Louisiana license. First-time travelers are not accepted; no call is scheduled, though holidays may be required.
