Job Summary
Float to all ICU units including Surgical, Neuro, Medicine, Cardiac, Cardiovascular, and Burn Center, and stepdown units as needed. Provide patient care with ratios of 1 to 1 or up to 1 to 3. Maintain NC or compact licensure and hold BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Submit a clear acceptance within 24 hours to secure the auto-offer. No interview required; schedule requests are managed directly with the manager upon assignment start.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Diploma completion
- North Carolina license or compact license
- Nursing Diploma
- ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Float to all ICU units based on unit needs, including Surgical, Neuro, Medicine, Cardiac, Cardiovascular, and Burn Center
- May also float to stepdown units as needed, which would involve 1 to 3 ratios
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
