Critical Care Float Nurse / Float RN (ICU)

Critical Care Float Nurse / Float RN (ICU) provides and coordinates direct patient care on nursing units under supervision. Responsibilities include assessing physical and psychosocial conditions, planning and documenting individualized care plans, implementing and coordinating care with the healthcare team, evaluating patient responses and readiness for discharge, educating patients and families, and functioning as a preceptor and charge nurse. Performs neuro-focused care including neuro assessment, airway management, care for trached patients, suctioning per policy, and supporting patients with ventilators and specialized neuro procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of the Tia Teaching Program and supports high-level patient care, teamwork, and service excellence.
