Job Summary
Critical Care Float Nurse/Float RN (ICU) provides comprehensive bedside and supervisory nursing care across Neuro and Cardiac ICUs, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized patient care plans; acts as preceptor and charge nurse; skilled in neuro assessment, airway management, ventilator care, tracheostomy management, and use of complex cardiac/neuro devices; supports patient education and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care across units.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license (state of CT)
- BSN preferred
- BCLS certification (or ability to obtain within one month)
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- BCLS certification
- Licensed Registered Nurse (CT)
- Critical care/ICU experience preferred
- Neuro/CTICU experience preferred
