Critical Care Float Nurse / Float RN (ICU)

Critical Care Float Nurse/Float RN (ICU) provides direct patient care on a nursing unit, assesses patients continuously, develops and documents a plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team, and evaluates outcomes. Responsibilities include supervising non‐RN personnel, serving as charge nurse, and precepting new staff. Demonstrates neuro-focused skills (neuro assessment, airway management, care of patients with tracheostomies, suctioning, and ventilator management), applies the Tia teaching program, and supports discharge planning and education.
