Critical Care Float Nurse / Float RN (ICU)

Provide bedside ICU nursing across neuro and cardiac ICU/CTICU units, including supervision of non-RN personnel, assignment of charge nurse duties, and support for patient care across the continuum. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans, coordinating with healthcare team, involving patients and families, and educating on post-discharge needs. Demonstrates competency in neuro assessment, airway management, care of tracheostomy patients, suctioning of pharyngeal/tracheostomy airways, ventilator care, and utilization of advanced cardiac/neurology devices. BSN preferred; licensed registered nurse in Connecticut; ongoing professional development and adherence to scope and standards of practice.
