Job Summary
Critical Care Float Nurse / Float RN (ICU) role involves assessing and planning patient care, implementing a plan of care, coordinating with healthcare team, and supervising non-RN personnel. Responsibilities include ongoing neurological and respiratory assessments, documentation of plans, education for patient and family, precepting new staff, and serving as charge nurse when needed. Required skills/experience include acute nursing experience (1 year), BSN preferred, proficiency with electronic health records, BLS, and knowledge in neuro care, airway management, vent settings, tracheostomy care, and neuro procedures. Licensure as a Connecticut RN is required. EOE statements included.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing
- BSN preferred
- 1 Year acute nursing experience required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
- Critical Care or Emergency experience preferred

- CT RN license must be valid
