Job Summary
Provides comprehensive nursing care on Neuro/ICU units, assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising patient care; acts as preceptor to new staff and as charge nurse when needed. Demonstrates neuro assessment, airway management, care of patients with tracheostomies, ventilators, and neuro procedures; applies the Tia Teaching Program; plans education and discharges; ensures high level of service and collaborates with the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing; BSN Preferred
- 1 Year Neonatal ICU RN experience required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
