Critical Care Float Nurse / Float RN (ICU)

Critical Care Float Nurse / Float RN (ICU) provides bedside nursing care in the neuro/ICU continuum, supervises non-RN staff, serves as Charge Nurse when needed, and may rotate to other nursing units. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, documenting outcomes, educating patients and families, and coordinating with healthcare team. Requires BSN preferred, CT RN license, neonatal ICU experience, and BLS. Applies nursing competencies across units, demonstrates proficiency with neuro assessment, airway management, and ventilated patients, and fulfills preceptorship/mentorship duties as assigned.
