Job Summary
Care for patients with complex cardiovascular disease including pre- and postoperative care, heart transplant, ventricular assist devices, acute mechanical circulatory support, and cardiogenic shock. Perform cannulation, place chest tubes, and conduct bronchoscopy and emergent intubations. Lead the ECMO program with opportunities for involvement and leadership. Provide educational opportunities for advanced practitioners, fellows, residents, and interns. Join a team of highly trained Cardiac ICU staff within the Heart & Vascular Institute, one of the strongest programs in the country.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE in Cardiology and/or Critical Care
Desired Qualifications
- Intensivist with a strong cardiac interest and experience
- Cardiologist with critical care experience and/or training
- Cannulation experience
