Job Summary
The job involves 24-hour coverage of four ICUs (Medical, Surgical-Trauma, Cardiovascular and Neurovascular) by APPs under the supervision of intensivist physicians. APPs will admit and co-manage ICU patients, participate in medical decision making, and perform critical care procedures (including intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines). The role is full-time and permanent with a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (days and nights) and week-on/week-off cadence. Required Qualifications
- Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with supervisory physician model
- Experience in critical care settings preferred
- Ability to perform procedures including intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines
- Full-time permanent position
- Mentoring and training provided for new employees
- Collaboration within a multidisciplinary ICU team
- 12-hour shifts and rotating day/night schedule
- Graduate-level APRN/PA with relevant state licensure
