CRITICAL CARE ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER

CRITICAL CARE ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER needed to join Pittsburgh Critical Care Associates (PCCA) for ICU coverage at UPMC Altoona Hospital in Altoona, PA. APPs will work in four ICUs (Medical, Surgical-Trauma, Cardiovascular, Neurovascular), admit and co-manage patients, participate in medical decision making, and perform critical care procedures including intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines and arterial lines. Full-time, permanent position with 26 weeks/year, every other week, alternating days and nights, 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am), under direct supervision of intensivist physicians. Mentoring/training provided as needed.
