Job Summary
Full-time Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to work in the PCCA-managed ICUs (Medical, Surgical-Trauma, Cardiovascular, Neurovascular) at UPMC Altoona. APPs will admit and co-manage ICU patients under intensivist supervision, participate in medical decision-making, and perform critical care procedures including intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines and arterial lines. Rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights) with every-other-week schedule; 26 weeks/year. Mentoring and training provided. Required Qualifications
- Advanced Practice Provider
- Licensure as APP (PA/NP) or equivalent
- Ability to perform critical care procedures: intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines
- Full-time availability
- Mentoring and training willingness
