CRITICAL CARE ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER

Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider sought to join Pittsburgh Critical Care Associates to work in the PCCA-managed medical and surgical ICUs at UPMC Altoona Hospital. APPs will admit and co-manage ICU patients, participate in medical decision making, and perform critical care procedures including intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines and arterial lines under intensivist supervision. Full-time, 26-week/year alternating day/night rotations (12-hour shifts) in a four-ICU service (Medical, Surgical-Trauma, Cardiovascular, Neurovascular) with a comprehensive benefits package and mentoring/training as needed.
