CRITICAL CARE ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER

Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider needed to join Pittsburgh Critical Care Associates in the ICU program at UPMC Altoona Hospital. APPs will admit and co-manage patients under intensivist supervision across four ICUs (Medical, Surgical-Trauma, Cardiovascular, Neurovascular), performing critical care procedures including intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines. Roles are full-time with every-other-week scheduling (26 weeks/year) and 12-hour shifts (days and nights). Mentoring and training are provided to develop skills. The APP team operates within a 24-hour service model coordinated by intensivists, in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
