CRITICAL CARE ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER sought to work in PCCA-managed ICUs at UPMC Altoona Hospital. APPs will admit and co-manage patients in four ICUs (Medical, Surgical-Trauma, Cardiovascular, Neurovascular) under intensivist supervision, performing critical care procedures including intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines and arterial lines. This full-time, permanently employed role offers 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights) with a schedule of every other week over 26 weeks per year. Mentoring and training are provided to develop skills within a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities include participation in medical decision making and co-management of patients within a 24-hour ICU service model.
