Job Summary
Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider needed to join Pittsburgh Critical Care Associates' ICU teams (Medical, Surgical-Trauma, Cardiovascular, Neurovascular) for 24-hour coverage. APPs admit and co-manage ICU patients under intensivist supervision and perform critical care procedures including intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines. Position is full-time and permanent with a rotating 12-hour schedule (days and nights) across four ICUs, with mentoring and training provided as needed. Employment through PCCA with affiliation to UPMC Altoona Hospital; the group supports a comprehensive benefits package. Interested candidates should forward their CV.
Required Qualifications
- Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with ICU/acute care experience
- Board-credentialing in acute care or critical care preferred
- Ability to perform critical care procedures (intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central/arterial lines)
- Full-time availability with rotating day/night schedule
- Experience in ICU settings and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
