CRITICAL CARE ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER needed to join Pittsburgh Critical Care Associates at UPMC Altoona Hospital in Altoona, PA. The APP team, under direct supervision of intensivist physicians, will admit and co-manage ICU patients across four units (Medical, Surgical-Trauma, Cardiovascular, Neurovascular). Responsibilities include participating in medical decision making and performing critical care procedures (intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines). The role is full-time with 12-hour shifts (days and nights) on an every-other-week rotation (26 weeks/year). Mentoring and training are provided as needed. Facilities include a 390-bed acute-care teaching hospital; the role supports a multidisciplinary team with a focus on collaborative care.
