CRITICAL CARE ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER position at Pittsburgh Critical Care Associates in Altoona, PA. APPs will work in the PCCA-managed medical and surgical ICUs under direct supervision of intensivist physicians, admitting and co-managing patients and performing critical care procedures (including intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines). Full-time permanent role with 24-hour coverage model across four ICUs (Medical, Surgical-Trauma, Cardiovascular, Neurovascular). APP schedule features a bi-weekly rotation with 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am), every other week, across 26 weeks per year. Paid mentoring and training provided as needed to develop skills.
