Job Summary

Crisis Worker provides direct services to consumers, significant others and collateral resources under supervision, ensuring adherence to operating procedures and regulations. The role includes telephone crisis services via the National Suicide Lifeline, mobile crisis intervention, and residential crisis duties, including daily planning, medication observation support, and community outreach. The position is on-site with a Tuesday-Saturday 4:30pm-12:30am shift in Stroudsburg, PA. Responsibilities include documentation, referrals, case management, and collaboration with nursing and supervisory staff to support consumers in reaching treatment goals. Requires flexibility for travel within service areas and compliance with licensing and funder requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Medium: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
