Crisis Therapist

Job Summary
Provide individual, group, and family counseling within the Crisis Response Team framework; coordinate services for assigned clients; participate in comprehensive assessments; consult with community agencies and families to maintain treatment coordination; provide on-call crisis intervention; document client progress; participate in daily crisis staffing/rounds; deliver psychoeducational programming; educate clients toward independent activities of daily living; perform other duties as assigned by VP of Emergency Response; requires licensure eligibility in KY and ability to travel within and outside the region; flexible scheduling including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in behavioral health related field
- Licensure or license eligible by one of the following: KY Board of Psychology, KY Board of Professional Counseling, KY Board of Social Work, or KY Board of Marriage and Family Therapy
- Public speaking and training skills preferred
- Excellent writing skills required
- Willing and able to travel inside and outside of the region
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Willing and able to work a non-traditional, flexible work schedule, occasionally including weekend hours
